Public Schools Spring Break 2024
It isn’t quite clear. Who needs a break and some fun in the sun the most? Is it the young students, or their parents and teachers? The answer could very well be that old reliable “when in doubt” multiple-choice test option. D: All of the above.
Chandler Unified School District. Chandler, Arizona
I’m all over this because my son, Julian, is in his senior year at Hamilton High School. The Chandler Unified School District ends the third quarter on Friday, March 8, 2024. The students return to class on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Flagstaff Unified School District. Flagstaff, Arizona
The folks from Flagstaff needing the beach will have to wait a day to head out to Rocky Point Mexico. This is because the Lukeville Port of Entry with Sonoyta, Sonora closes nightly at 8:00 p.m. Their Spring Break 2024 begins after school on Friday, March 8. You couldn’t make it there in time (legally anyway!) The doors to schools re-open on Monday, March 18, 2024.
Phoenix Central School District. Phoenix, Arizona
No one maxes out the Spring Break 2024 Dates like the Phoenix Central School District. The students are through with their third quarter classes after Friday, March 8, 2024. And they can spend the longest time in Puerto Peñasco because they don’t return until Monday, April 1, 2024.
That is not an April Fool’s Day joke.
Tucson Unified School District. Tucson, Arizona
Everyone connected with the Tucson Unified School District start spring break after class on Friday, March 8, 2024. However, they return to school on Monday, March 18, 2024.
El Paso Independent School District. El Paso, Texas
And now for our faithful friends in Southwest Texas. The El Paso Independent School System begins it 2024 Spring Break after classes on Monday, March 4, 2024. They return on Monday, March 18, 2024.
College Spring Break 2024 Dates
Have fun but be smart if you are planning on a trip to Puerto Peñasco. The town has continually become a more popular spring break destination in recent years. Therefore, as a result, you can expect more people, more traffic, and more partygoers getting wild.
Arizona State University:
The Sun Devil Nation need to know information is as follows. The Arizona State University Spring Break 2024 dates feature classes ending on Friday, March 1. Meanwhile, the day to be back on campus is Monday, March 11.
Northern Arizona University:
Northern Arizona Lumberjacks will be enjoying their spring break from end of the school day on Friday, March 8, 2024. They will return (likely needing coffee) on the morning of Monday, March 18, 2024.
University of Arizona:
So much for the in-state rivalry. The University of Arizona Wildcats need not bear down on classes during the exact same Spring Break 2024 Dates as their non-friends from Tempe. After school on Friday, March 8 to the morning of Monday, March 18.
Writing this brings a reminder. How could I possibly forget the emotional heart attack I had as a dad last spring break in Rocky Point? I was on the way up to my 510 East condo at the Sonoran Sun Resort. Next, to be courteous I held the elevator door open for a group of teenage girls. They clearly couldn’t have been old enough to drive. What’s more, one of them wore a bandana with a saying that made me cringe with fear for her. “It said, “I do on the first date.” Thank heavens I have a boy.
